Why it works

Everybody knows to put a shop vac on the drain line. Nobody solves the connection. A cupped hand or a wrapped rag bleeds air, and a vacuum pulling through a leak has almost nothing left by the time it reaches the clog. The stepped base clamps the hose tight so the suction goes down the pipe instead of past your fingers — and the four ring sizes mean it grips whichever vac is already in your garage.

Will this fit my AC drain line?
The black elbow is sized for a 1-inch drain line opening. Most residential condensate lines are 3/4-inch or 1-inch PVC — check yours before ordering. If it doesn't fit, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
Will it fit my shop vac?
The stepped base is molded in four diameters — 1.25", 1.5", 1-7/8" and 2.5" — which covers the hose on nearly every wet/dry vacuum sold. Press the base onto whichever step matches your hose.
Does it actually pull the clog, or just the standing water?
The adapter seals the connection so your vacuum's full suction reaches the line instead of leaking at the joint. What that suction can move depends on your vac and how compacted the blockage is — most seasonal sludge and algae buildup pulls out in under a minute.
Do I need tools or any plumbing skill?
No. There is nothing to cut, glue, thread or wrench. Push the elbow onto the drain outlet, press the base onto your vac hose, switch the vacuum on.
How often should I use it?
Twice a cooling season is a sensible rhythm — once before you switch the system on, once at midsummer. Running it before a clog forms is easier than clearing one after.
Can I use it on more than one unit?
Yes. Nothing is consumed in use. Rinse the tube, let it dry, and it's ready for the next unit — your house, a rental, a parent's place.
